This Privacy Policy is designed to be consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). It explains how Smart Bharat Lab ("we") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data.

1. Data we collect

Identity & contact: name, mobile number, email, city, pincode, collection address.
Booking data: tests/packages selected, preferred date & time, selected laboratory.
Account & usage: wallet/reward activity, searches, pages viewed, device and browser information.

2. Purpose of processing

To create and manage your account, fulfil your bookings or booking requests, share the minimum necessary details with the selected laboratory, provide support, prevent fraud, and — with your consent — send you reminders and offers.

3. Legal basis

We process your data based on your consent and to perform the booking you request. You may withdraw consent at any time (see User Rights).

4. Sharing with laboratories

For a Listed Lab we share only the minimum required to fulfil your request: your name, mobile number, selected test(s), and preferred date/time. We do not share unnecessary personal information. Partner Labs receive the details necessary to confirm and service your booking.

5. Data retention

We retain your data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Security measures

We use access controls, encryption in transit, hashed credentials and audit logging. Sensitive identifiers are masked wherever displayed.

7. Your rights (DPDP Act)

Access a summary of your personal data.
Correction and updating of inaccurate data.
Erasure / deletion of your data and account.
Withdrawal of consent.
Data portability where applicable.
